Empowering Women in Community Leadership for Healthier Families conducts leadership development and prepares diverse women to enhance existing community-based efforts to reduce the risk of preventable disabilities caused by FAS/FASD and lead poisoning. This multi-pronged initiative addresses health inequities to lower the incidence of FAS/FASD and lead poisoning by building community capacity to enhance engagement and leadership opportunities among underserved women of childbearing age.
