Growing evidence and awareness about child and family social and relational health needs has led to widespread efforts to assess and address social determinants of health, relational health risks (like ACEs) and to promote family resilience and strong caregiver-child connection. Ensuring these efforts let families lead and address the larger systems and structural issues related to social and relational health risks is critical. This workshop critiques current approaches and identifies promising family-centered strategies.
